FAQ's

What surfaces can the equipment be set up on?

The ground surface must be flat and level. The equipment can be set up on grass, concrete, gravel and dirt. If booking a castle, ground type must be stated at time of booking to ensure the castle can be secured correctly. The site must also be clear of overhanging branches.

Do we need power?

The castles need a standard household power point within 20 metres from site. If no power is available a generator can be hired for an additional fee. This must be stated at time of booking.

How long does the castle take to set up?

Staff will arrive at your event approximately 30 minutes prior to the time to allow for set up. The castle will take approximately 10-20 minutes to erect depending on the site and access. Staff will then return after the time to dismantle the castle in 10-15 minutes.

Does someone need to supervise the castle?

Yes, a person 18 years or older needs to supervise children when on the castle. Our trained staff will run through the procedures on the day. If you require supervision for a public event Go Jump Australia can arrange staff (extra charges will apply).

Are you insured?

Yes. Go Jump Australia is fully insured and has a perfect safety record. The castles are fully sided and have safety netting to ensure children cannot fall out. The sumo suits are fully padded and come with safety features including helmets, neck braces and mats.

Where do you travel to?

We have free delivery to Mackay and surrounding suburbs/areas. We will travel north to Airlie Beach/Proserpine, south to Carmilla and west to Moranbah (travel charges may apply).

Can castles be set up in council parks?

Yes, however customers need to contact local council directly to check availability of the park and arrange council approval before holding any event in the public area.

What happens in bad weather?

For safety reasons, the castles cannot be erected in winds of more than 25km per hour or in rain. The castle can be erected if there is only a light shower. If the weather is deemed to be unsafe by Go Jump Australia, we will contact you beforehand to discuss. Go Jump Australia reserves the right to cancel due to weather conditions.
